John P Kummer Limited is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team.
Using our long-established relationships within the worldwide industry we bring the newest and most technologically advanced products to the European Microelectronics and related industries. We are part of a Europe-wide group, covering the distribution of instruments used in a range of areas such Metrology, Inspection, Failure Analysis, Test or Reliability.

You will be working closely with the managing Director driving the business forward.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with experience in sales of complex products. The role may also suit candidates from a service engineering background who are looking to make the transition into sales work.
Role - Sales Manager – Capital Equipment
Location – Wiltshire office based 1 day per week with remote working offered within a commutable distance
Salary Negotiable, dependent upon skills, education and experience + Commission + Car or Car allowance
This is a very diverse role. You will be responsible for identifying new projects as well as managing and developing existing accounts.
You will schedule your own diary and be accountable for visiting customers in a face to face capacity, this will initially be across the UK but will also include travel to European customers and suppliers around the world.

New Business generation and Account Management; maintaining and developing customer relations across the UK and long term over Europe
Liaison with suppliers; Preparation of tenders/quotes and sales reports
Forecasting work Face to face client meetings and negotiations
Suitable candidates are expected to share many of the following:
• Electronic/Electrical Background
• Strong Technical background
• Physics/Material Science/Instrument Engineering
• Proven track record in establishing new business
• Possibly suitable for someone interested in moving from service/apps into sales
